NEP understands that analytical tests must be highly sensitive and accurate. We appreciate that while some applications may tolerate some variance in analyses, we operate with the assumption that your research requires exquisite consistency. Amino Acid Analysis

Amino Acid Analysis (AAA) validated against National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) protein standards. AAA can be used to define absolute peptide content or concentration of samples or aliquots.

Sequencing

Sequencing via Edman Degredation or N-terminal sequencing.

Conjugation

Protein/peptide conjugation to KLH, BSA, OVA.

Purification

• Traditional HPLC Purification. HPLC to define chemical purity of the peptide. Use our traditional purification service to confirm existing peptide purity or get a second opinion.
• Flash Purification. NEP has also developed a rapid purification process which is designed to remove the salts from crude peptides. This flash chromatography process uses reverse phase, but it stops short of a full purification as it focuses on removing non-peptide impurities. Just request our flash purification/chromatography process when you submit your next quote request for crude peptides and we will take it from there.

Mass Spectrometry

• MALDI-MS to provide confirmation of identity and isotopic incorporation to give desired mass shift.
• LC-MS and MS/MS Fragmentation.
• High resolution MS to confirm isotopic incorporation and pattern of peptide.
