Goat Protocols

If you have a need to generate a very large amount of homogeneous antibody material, then goats or sheep are the way to go. Please review our optimized protocols below. Note that the goat and sheep protocols are exactly the same, so only Goat Packages are written below.

Standard Goat Package: $2,400 (160 days)

• Antigen design/Bioinformatics

• 15-mer peptide, 16mg at >85% (5mg to customer, 10mg for immunization, 1mg for ELISA)

• Mass Spec and HPLC trace

• Up to eight immunizations of one goat (Blue Tongue Free)

• Pre-immune serum, four test bleeds, ELISA on 1^st test bleed

• Delivery of one liter of antiserum (by plasmaphoresis)

Affinity Purified Goat Package: $3,000 (170 days)

• Everything included in Standard Package above, plus:

• Extra peptide for affinity purification

• Affinity purification of 40-50mL antiserum

Note: subsequent additional purifications are $300 each

Customer Supplied Antigen Standard Goat Package: $2,000 (135 days)

• Up to eight immunizations of one goat (Blue Tongue Free)

• Pre-immune serum, four test bleeds, ELISA on 1^st test bleed

• Delivery of one liter of antiserum (by plasmaphoresis)

• Affinity purification of 40-50mL antiserum

Customer Supplied Antigen Affinity Purified Goat Package: $2,600 (140 days)

• Everything included in Standard Package above, plus:

• Affinity purification of 40-50mL antiserum

Note: Additional goats are $1,500 each
