Chicken Protocols

 

 

Using chickens instead of rabbits can be useful if your protein is highly conserved in mammals. Please review our optimized chicken protocols below:


Standard Chicken Package: $1,300 (85 days)

  • Antigen design/Bioinformatics
  • 15-mer peptide, 11mg at 85 %
  • 5mg uncoupled to customer, 5mg coupled to KLH, 1mg for ELISA
  • Mass Spec and HPLC trace
  • Four immunizations of two chickens (Concord Sex Link)
  • ELISA performed on in-house test bleed
  • Egg collection of up to three pre-immune and twelve post-immune eggs per chicken


IgY Isolation Chicken Package: $2,000 (100 days)

  • Everything in the Standard Package, plus:
  • IgY isolation of pre-immune and post-immune eggs for both chickens
  • ELISA performed on IgY isolate


Affinity Purified Chicken Package: $2,650 (105 days)

  • Everything in the IgY Isolation Package, plus:
  • Extra peptide for affinity purification
  • Affinity purification of 40-50mL IgY isolate of an individual chicken or pool of both


Customer Supplied Antigen Standard Chicken Package: $900 (70 days)

  • Four immunizations of two chickens (Concord Sex Link)
  • ELISA performed on in-house test bleed
  • Egg collection of up to three pre-immune and twelve post-immune eggs per chicken


Customer Supplied Antigen IgY Isolation Chicken Package: $1,600 (85 days)

  • Everything in the Standard Package, plus:
  • IgY isolation of pre-immune and post-immune eggs for both chickens
  • ELISA performed on IgY isolate


Customer Supplied Antigen Affinity Purified Chicken Package: $2,250 (90 days)

Everything in the Customer Supplied IgY Isolation Package above, plus:

  • Affinity purification of 40-50mL IgY isolate of an individual chicken or pool of both
