Job Responsibilities:

NEP is seeking a qualified individual interested in a career in the Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry. Working alongside other peptide scientists, the synthesis technician will be responsible for synthesizing and analyzing peptides using solid phase peptide synthesis. This is excellent opportunity to get practical, hands on experience at a thriving biotech company. Job duties will include:

• Operation and maintenance of peptide synthesis instrumentation
• Daily tracking and record keeping of current peptide projects
• Hand modifications of custom peptides
• Peptide Cleavage
• Data analysis and characterization of peptides using HPLC and Mass Spec
• Other lab maintenance duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Degree in the sciences (Biology, Chemistry, or equivalent)
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently
